OMG, how have we not heard of this place before
From the outside, it's not appealing due to the construction. But even without the construction, I feel it's not a good location even though it's on a busy street (Benson).
My wife found this restaurant online and she liked the menu, so we thought we'd try it out with our friends.
We walked into a busy but not crowded restaurant.
The waitress sat us almost immediately.
They didn't have regular booths like we like when we go with a group, but they seated us at a table that had regular chairs on one side and padded bench seats along the wall.
The food was great and the margaritas were even better! This restaurant is truly a place worth visiting!.
The staff couldn't have been nicer!
I would highly recommend this restaurant for your Mexican fix!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Diego G.Temecula, CA1243554Apr 3, 2024
Chile verde was spot on, the pork was very tender and had great taste throughout. Refried beans were ok, slight weird aftertaste but edible still.
Service is good, only 2 ladies during lunch, waiting a few to get drink order taken but was told she'd get to me soon.
Restaurant looks great, good music and wasn't expecting the look inside from outdoors.
I'd suggest to offer appetizers or spend a few words to get to know your customers. Make them feel important and appreciate their support.
Looks like a great place for friends after work/weekend and small family gatherings.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 25, 20241 check-in
I recently dined at Puebiltas Mexican Restaurant and wanted to share my review. Overall, my experience was positive, with a few minor drawbacks.
The food at Puebiltas was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the quesa birria tacos, which were flavorful and satisfying. The menu had a good variety of Mexican dishes to choose from, and the prices were reasonable. However, I did find the rice to be a bit dry and the beans were served cold, which was a disappointment.
The interior of the restaurant was beautiful. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a tasteful Mexican decor that added to the overall dining experience. It was a pleasant environment to enjoy a meal.
Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of my waitress, but the staff as a whole was friendly and accommodating. They did attend to our needs however it took long then I would expect.
One highlight of the dining experience was the drinks. The restaurant offers a great selection of beverages, and I particularly enjoyed the mimosa. It was refreshing and well worth it.
In conclusion, while there were a couple of minor issues with the rice and beans, Puebiltas Mexican Restaurant offers delicious food, a beautiful ambiance, and friendly staff. I would recommend giving it a try, especially if you're in the mood for quesa birria tacos or a tasty mimosa.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 16, 20241 check-in
I really loved this place the food was amazing the flavors were authentic Mexican dishes. I really had high hopes with this location. A few things that unfortunately did not give me a five star rating was the service it may have been just an off day but there was truly no customer service our party had to multiple times walk over to server just to request basic items like silverware, water refill and napkins. Not once did a server stop by to make sure we had everything we needed. The plates that the food were served on were extremely hot that one of my friends had a visual burn from plate. Once again food was awesome would love to give it another try. The decor was cool and music was great.

Wanted Mexican food so this was the place.. it's nice and clean inside got a giant peach mimosa that was tasty the drinks are good ordered a chile Verde Wet Burrito that was good but the service here sucks and this place is way overpriced for the amount of food you get.. for $200 dollars I can get better service and food for less so I don't think we will be comeback to this place so not worth it..

Came here on Friday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. Had to wait 10 mins for a party of 5 to get a table. There was empty tables all around but they wanted to clean a certain table for us to sit down.
Got seated and it took a while for them to get our drink orders. Which we just got water and a lemonade. The service wasn't the best but it was still pretty decent. They served chips and salsa but I don't think one bowl was enough for my party.
The restaurants interior was pretty nice. Very homey and a lot of art work. They also have a changing table in the restroom which was nice.
They finally got our order and i know the food was made fresh but it took almost an hr just to get our food. I don't mind it being fresh but we had kids with us and they were so hungry.
The food was pretty decent. No complaints. Pretty simple.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 3 - Joe C.Rancho Cucamonga, CA1172Apr 28, 2024

Service was great very attentive! Great quiet restaurant I moved to Upland 6 months ago and have been wanting to try it, so glad we stopped by, everything was delicious, fresh, the queso con chorizo appetizer was a perfect starter! Definitely recommend trying this place out! Last but not least the Michelada was mouth watering!! Can't wait to go back! Great job to your staff'

First and foremost, the food is absolutely delicious. Some of the best carnitas I've ever had, and I've eaten a LOT of carnitas over the years, including some in Mexico. Everything myself and my family have tried here is really, really top notch - the pozole is a favorite amongst us as well.
Chips and salsa are served as standard. Most entrees come with your choice of corn or flour tortillas which come to the table neatly wrapped in paper and steaming hot.
Drinks are okay, the horchata isn't the best I've had but it's pretty good. The "michelada" flight is a bit subpar, it comes with four beer selections that aren't micheladas at all. A couple of them have a tajin rim, but three out of four are just regular beer, which is disappointing. I've yet to try the margaritas but they sound tasty.
I will say that although the food is outstanding and I will be returning for it alone, the ambiance and service could use some work. The location itself is in an industrial and less-than-inviting location, so I'm sure it hinders their exposure. They would benefit from better advertising on the outside of the restaurant to make it stand out more from the street. On the inside, it's a bit cold visually and slightly off putting overall. If my family hadn't already been coming here for years, I might have written it off or not even heard about it at all. I think some interior decorating to liven up the place would benefit them really well!
It also seems like they could use a few more hands to help out with servicing tables and working in the kitchen.
Despite these couple things, I'm really glad I know about this spot because it's some of the best Mexican food in the county. I highly recommend you try it out if you're curious, it's worth the drive even if you aren't super close by.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1
